Alpha 6 Devlog: SCP-173's Appearance
Until Alpha 6, SCP-173 will have used SCP Containment Breach’s interpretation of SCP-173, modeled after Izumi Katō’s Untitled 2004. Since SCPCB’s release in 2013, Izumi Katō has since ceased allowing the SCP Foundation and others from using their work for SCP-related works. Now, the time has come to replace SCP-173’s model with a new one.
I am not the best modeler, nor the best 3d artist in general, but I have made an attempt at a new interpretation of SCP-173 inspired by several sources, mainly SCP: Unity’s and SCP: Terror Hunt’s interpretation of SCP-173.
Enough talk, here’s a few pictures of the model:

I greatly approve of the form I’ve given SCP-173, as well as the rebar “tentacles.”
However, it’s obviously not the best it can be. So I am looking for artists to help me with this area, if anyone is interested in helping. And potentially more? Contact me @ kaliditzy on Discord if that sounds interesting.
Anyhow, see y’all in the next Devlog, I got more planned.
